Airborne was OK. Recorded our first top 15 finish since Thunder Road. Moved up a couple spots in points and got car to stay more consistent throughout the race. Was really looking forward to having a top 10 run there as I enjoy the track and have had success there in the past, but I guess we haven’t paid enough dues yet in 2010. Beech Ridge up next. 10 Hours to the Ridge from Ontario should put some deposits in the “dues” bank.

White Mountain started off great. We were second quick to Dragon in practice and then in feature, car got tight again. Ended up 18th, but had a great race with Ben Rowe all night. It was fun to have him there to keep me company in the back. Working hard to try and find a good long run set up. Brian Hoar is the only car that can consistently move forward each and every week. Hats off to those guys.

Missed show at Oxford. Not much to say. Car was bad. .466 seconds separated 50 cars and we were in the bottom part of that group. Need to keep working.

Have always enjoyed Lee Speedway. Red MacDonald has always put on a great show and they keep the track very nice. It was great to see some familiar faces and catch up with people that I haven’t seen in years. After the Oxford embarrassment, we went with a decidedly different set-up that proved to be great on the short run but just brutal after 25 laps. Never have driven a car the pushed so bad! Cars are tough to figure out and the “sweet spot” seems to be a very small one. Need to find it soon.

Oxford was a humbling moment. Having had some success there in the past, it was tough to load up and come home. The only salvation was that guys like Cyr, Pole, Heliwell and Laquerre loaded up too. Our car was certainly off and with 50 some odd cars on hand you can’t be off very much and you will miss the show.

Airborne rained out. Sucks! Looking forward to going there. Had a good car there last fall until sway bar bolt came out. Hoping to have it be one of our better tracks.

Thunder road was a tough show. So many great racers at The Road make it especially tough to make the field as a tour car and especially one that hasn’t been there in 4 or 5 years. We made the race which was a great way to start the season, but after about 50 laps the car got really tight in the center of the corners. We pitted repeatedly to try and make it better, which we may have in the end, but too little too late. We came out in one piece and look forward to the learning curve as we adapt to this style of race car.

It was a tough start to the season with the rain outs at Lee and Albany. I was looking forward to going to Albany as I felt it may have given us at least an even playing field based on the fact most tour cars had never been there before. Hopefully they make it up later in the season.

Hi Everybody. Thanks for stopping by to check us out and see what we’re up to for 2010.

Plan is to run the ACT U.S. schedule in 2010 and help them celebrate their 25th year. We are going to be at a couple new tracks before that we have never seen before, Twin State and Waterford. I am also looking forward to visiting Albany-Saratoga now that has been paved. Drove a Busch North car for CJ Richards back in 2000 and he and his family were great people, so it will be fun to see them again and race at a place with so much history in the sport.

Got some great support from long time family friend’s and sponsors Hasiuk Trailers and Containers. They were involved on my dad’s cars in the late 70’s and have been a big support behind the scenes ever since.

Local Dodge/Chrysler dealer JJ Stewart Motors who have been friends of mine since grade school are also on board and have been a big help over the past 5 years along with providing us great support at Kawartha Speedway.

I am looking forward to getting back to Lee. It has been about 10 years since I have been there and it will be good to see some familiar faces for my 2nd Tour of ACT racing. It’s been 16 years since the last one!
